As a result, Nordea Bank Norway ASA is dissolved, and the banking business will be operated as a branch of Nordea Bank AB. This means that Nordea Bank ASA is no longer an ordinary member of the Norwegian Banks’ Guarantee Fund. The Norwegian branch of Nordea Bank AB will, however, be a branch member with effect from January 2.
