Chairman of the board
Skjørestad is a lawyer and has been a partner in Haver Advokatfirma AS since 1985. Skjørestad has previously been State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. He holds several positions and serves on several boards in various industries. Previously, Skjørestad was a member of the board of Statens Bankinvesteringsfond, chairman of the board of Statens finansfond, as well as chair of the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) from 2010 - 2018.
Skjørestad holds a Cand. jur. from the University of Bergen.

Hægeland has since 2016 been the Executive Director of the Financial Stability department and is a member of the management group of Norges Bank. He has previously held the position as Director of Research at Statistics Norway.
Hægeland holds a PhD in economics from the University of Oslo.

Iversen is currently on leave from her position as an Associate Professor in Law at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences to do research on central bank's role in times of crisis (postdoctoral reseracher in a joint project between the Department of Private Law, University of Oslo and Inland Norway University of Applied Science).
Iversen holds a PhD (2020) and a Master of Law (2015) from the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo. She has also studied banking and finance law at ESADE Law School/ Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona (2013) and been a Visiting Scholar at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, University of Cambridge (2017). Formerly, she has worked as an associate lawyer at the law firm Schjødt, and a Secretary to the Complaints Board for Auditor- and Accountant Cases.
Iversen publishes regularly research on sovereign debt and central bank law.
Board member
Myklebust is a postdoc at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Law (Department of Private Law). She has work experience from the Financial Markets Department and the Asset Management Department in the Ministry of Finance, the Norwegian Supreme Court and as a deputy judge. She is a member of the Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund and has previously been a member of Norway's Climate Risk Commission (NOU 2018: 17). Myklebust has authored several publications in the area of financial market law.
Myklebust holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Oslo, a MSc (by research) from the University of Oxford and a PhD in law from the University of Oslo.

Mæland is Associate Professor at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen. Since 2013 she has been Head of department at the Department of Finance. She has several publications in the areas of investment and innovation.
Mæland holds a PhD in financial economics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
Board member
Hoff holds a position as adjunct lecturer II at the Department of Finance, BI Norwegian Business School. From 1989 to 2020 he worked at DNB, starting as an equity analyst specialising on banks and insurance companies, later serving as an adviser for the Group Management on corporate finance and strategic issues. Since 1999 Hoff had several leadership positions in the Group’s risk management functions. In the last years he was Head of Group ICAAP and Recovery planning. From 2001 to 2020 Hoff was head of the Solidity Committee of Finance Norway.
Hoff holds an MBA in finance from NHH Norwegian School of Economics and is Certified Financial Analyst.

Øystein Løining was former Deputy Director General in the Financial Markets Department in the Norwegian Ministry of Finance.
