    Endre Skjørestad

    Chairman of the board

    Skjørestad is a lawyer and has been a partner in Haver Advokatfirma AS since 1985, and has also previously been state secretary in the Ministry of Finance. He holds several positions and sits on several boards in various industries. Skjørestad has previously, among other things, been a board member of the Statens Bankinvesteringsfond, chairman of the board of the Statens finansfond, and was also chairman of the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority from 2010 - 2018.

    Skjørestad is a candidate of law from the University of Bergen.

    Hægeland has been director of the Financial Stability department since 2016 and is a member of the management group at Noregs Bank. He has previous experience as director of research at Statistics Norway.

    Hægeland has a doctorate in economics from the University of Oslo.

  • Astrid Iversen

    Astrid Iversen

    Board member

    Iversen is a postdoctoral fellow in a project on central banks in times of crisis, in a collaborative project between the Department of Private Law at the University of Oslo and the University College in Innlandet. She is on leave from her position as associate professor of jurisprudence at Høgskolen i Innlandet.

    Iversen has a PhD (2020) and a master's in jurisprudence (2015) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo. She has also studied banking and financial law at ESADE Law School/Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona (2013) and was a visiting researcher at the Lauterpacht Center for International Law, at Cambridge University (2017). She has previously worked as a solicitor in the law firm Schjødt and was secretary for the appeal board for auditor and accountant cases.

    In particular, Iversen publishes research on the regulation of government debt and central bank law.

  • Trude Myklebust

    Myklebust is a postdoc at the Faculty of Law, Department of Private Law (UiO). She has experience from work in the Financial Markets Department and the Department for Asset Management in the Ministry of Finance, the Supreme Court and as a deputy judge. He sits on the Ethics Council for the Government's pension fund abroad, and was a member of the Climate Risk Committee (NOU 2018: 17). Myklebust has several publications within financial market law.

    Myklebust is a cand.jur. from UiO, has a master's degree (MSc) from the University of Oxford and a PhD in jurisprudence from UiO.

    Mæland is an associate professor at the Norwegian Business School in Bergen, and since 2013 she has been head of department at the Department of Finance. She has several publications in the area of investments and innovation.

    Mæland has a doctorate in finance and economics from the Norwegian Business School.

  • Roar Hoff

    Roar Hoff

    Board menber

    Hoff is a university lecturer at the Department of Finance at BI Business School. From 1989 to 2020, he was employed at DNB, first as an equity analyst covering the banking and insurance industries, then as an adviser to group management on framework conditions and structural issues. Since 1999, Hoff had leadership responsibility within DNB's risk management area, where in recent years he was responsible for the group's capital and risk assessment process (ICAAP) and DNB's recovery plan. Hoff chaired the Expert Committee Solidity in Finance Norway from 2001 to 2020.

    Hoff is a civil economist with a higher division exam from NHH and an authorized financial analyst.
